Since April 2017, COO of Caligoo. Prior to Caligoo, Mr. Cherry served as an Advisor at bothHQ LLC, a market research and project management advisory business. He was an investor and executive with Real Times Media LLC, a regional media and publishing platform, serving both as CFO and as Co-Managing Member. He has held positions at various financial services firms, concluding as Vice President in the Investment Banking division of First Chicago (acquired by JP Morgan Chase), primarily focused on the syndication and placement of M&A and going-private financings.
Lorenzo has worked with distributed systems since his graduation in 2009. Focusing initially on distributed and federated search systems he has become responsible of an entire real-time distributed social media monitoring system using several different analysis paradigms, using a traditional big data approach to stream analytics. A great proponent of microservices and lambda architecture since its formalisation, he has been working on reactive patterns and architectures as the way forward to resilience. Prior to joining Caligoo, he served as principal consultant for Intext (Parma) and as innovation manager for Roialty (Milan).
B. Sc. in Computer Science from the University of Parma. He is an iOS and Android developer. His research interests cover Mobile and Wearable Computing and Internet of Things platforms.
He is in charge of official Web Applications design and development ranging from Analytics Dashboard to Web Captive Portal.
He is in charge of AAA (Authentication, Authorization and Accounting) platform and develop background services to support Web and Mobile application services.
M. Sc. in Computer Science from the University of Bologna (Italy). He is a Java developer and his interests cover Machine Learning, Data Analysis and Social Network Analysis.
Simona is an experienced professional who has been working in the IT world for 10 years. She first approached the field in 2006 stepping in as Area Manager for the marketing of products and services related to the telecommunications market and to major national carrier. In 2008 she began working with Guglielmo Ltd. as Account Manager for Northern Italy, managing the services related to the design, implementation and management systems for the delivery of WiFi connectivity in public and private areas. In March 2011 she was appointed Sales Director at the same company.
M. A. (cum laude) in Organizational Management from the University of Bologna, Italy. As an exchange student, she attended Ludwig-Maximilians Universität in Munich (Germany) and Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA (United States). Prior to joining Caligoo, she has been involved as a project manager into a variety of organizations in the arts and cultural sector in Italy and abroad, such as Residency Unlimited Inc. (New York) and Careof-Via Farini (Milan).
Carlo graduated from the University of Bocconi in Economics. Prior to joining Caligoo he worked for some of the world’s most memorable and global brands such as Kellogg’s, McDonalds and Shell, where he covered a range of roles in marketing, sales and strategy, at both a local and global level.
